Transition from a paper-based support agency to a business partnership with leadership
A traditional HR function in a large facility was required to change from a paper-based support organization to a progressive consulting/customer relations business. Retraining, reclassification, and development options were needed for much of the existing HR employee population.
The Learning Consortium worked with subject matter experts in eight HR functions to develop new performance models with a consulting focus. We identified required skills and training for the new and revised roles, and developed all appropriate tools to facilitate the change.
Products included leveled competency models, customized resource guides and tools for training and development, performance management and interviewing and selection. We worked extensively with the compensation group to assure alignment of all HR systems for the transition to revised roles.
